Abstract

This research was conducted at the Cooperative XYZ. The purpose of this study was to determine the Implementation of Management Information Systems at the Cooperative XYZ, and to determine the Employee Performance at the Cooperative XYZ and the Effect of the Management Information System Application on Employee Performance at the Cooperative XYZ.

The research method used was a survey method. The respondents of the research were 36 employees of the Cooperative XYZ as the population, while the sampling technique used the Saturated Sampling Method, because the number of samples was quite small, so that all populations were sampled so that the number of samples was as many as 36 samples. Data collection techniques using instruments in the form of a questionnaire, for the variable Implementation of Management Information Systems and Employee Performance with ordinal scale using a Likert scale. The instrument was tested with a reliability test and a validity test. The research data were analyzed descriptively with frequency and associative tests with the coefficient of determination and Simple Linear Regression Analysis.

The results showed that: (1) The application of Management Information System was measured by 11 indicators, and only 10 indicators were declared valid, so that only 10 indicators could be further analyzed, out of 10 indicators all indicators were assessed well by respondents, and; (2) Employee performance is measured by 16 indicators, and only 15 indicators are declared valid and can be further analyzed, of the 15 indicators only 14 indicators are rated well by respondents, and 1 indicator is expressed doubt by respondents, (3) Implementation Management Information System has an influence on Employee Performance as indicated by the coefficient of determination of 62.09%, meaning that an increase in the Application of Management Information System that is getting better will have an effect of 62.09% on the improvement of Employee Performance in Cooperative XYZ. Regression equation for the Implementation of Management Information Systems on Employee Performance is Y = 1.123 + 0.716X, meaning that if the Application of Management Information Systems in the company there is no change (0 / No), then the Employee Performance Value of 1.123 points. While the regression coefficient X value of 0.716 points, states that every Improvement of Management Information Systems Implementation in a company that is getting better, then the value of Employee Performance will increase by 0.716 points.
